Simon Larard

Simon Larard is an experienced Coach and international marketing/business development specialist. Over the years Simon has worked in various roles for a number of multinational business products companies, heading Sales, Marketing and Business Unit teams.

Before setting up Beech Hill Consulting, Simon led the international Sales and Marketing function for a world leading manufacturer of Education, Meeting and Communication products. Developing businesses throughout Europe and North America, along with running supplier relationships in Asia has given Simon significant experience in international project management.

Coaching has been an influential part of Simon’s life and has been part of a number of projects for Beech Hill Consulting in recent years. 2020 saw the launch of Beech Hill Coaching. As part of this development Simon has continued his professional training via an ILM post-grad Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching and Mentoring.

Simon has a BA in Economics specialising in Natural Resource Economics and an MSc in Agricultural Economics and Marketing from Wye College (now Imperial College), University of London.

Jo Loughran

Jo Loughran has expertise in public behaviour change campaigning, programme management (including successfully winding down / legacy planning) and charity sector leadership.

Most recently Jo was Director of Time To Change - a national social movement to change the way people think and act about mental health problems, jointly run by Mind and Rethink Mental Illness (from 2007 to 2021). Jo also created the first comprehensive England-wide mental health anti-stigma behaviour change programme focusing on young people aged 11-18.

She holds expertise in writing programme content and securing major funding. She has made numerous media appearances as organisational spokesperson, including live and pre-recorded TV and radio segments. She is an experienced presenter / panelist in front of live audiences and via online settings. Jo writes blogs and support material for both charity sector and commercial organisations on the topic of mental health, stigma and discrimination and behaviour change.

Jo has a degree in Psychology from the Open University.
